As Casa Central’s Vice President of Children's Services,  Mary Reynolds provides clinical and administrative oversight of the Early Learning Academy (including serving as the agency’s Head Start Director), School-Age Program, and Violence Prevention & Intervention Program.  "Our staff, volunteers, participants, partners, and supporters are truly amazing people,” Mary says about her time at Casa Central. “Casa is a warm and welcoming place because of the people, and I feel so fortunate to be part of such a dedicated, compassionate, joyful community.”

Mary holds a B.A. in Gender Studies from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio; Masters’ Degrees in Social Work and Gender Studies from Loyola University Chicago; and post-graduate certification in Infant Mental Health from the Erikson Institute. She holds credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health specialist, and Certified Domestic Violence Professional. She has worked at Casa Central, first as a Therapist, then Program Director, and now Vice President of Children’s Services, since 2008.

When she’s not at Casa Central, you’ll find Mary teaching in the Social Work program at Northeastern Illinois University, hanging out at home with her partner and dog, testing out new recipes, and trying to watch absolutely everything on Netflix.
